Hi Theresa,
Just to let you know that " Chloe" is doing fine.
She and Butter love each other and Butter has established she is
Queen.  With out saying, she is a very energetic pup and loves her
environment.  Every day is something new to her. Like going on squirrel
hunts with Butter.  Jaylynn loves her and I feel I made a good choice
coming to you.  I know she was not show quality but she won our hearts.
Thank You,
David C.  12-11-09

Izzy is such a good little girl. I take her with me wherever I go, and everyone goes crazy over her. She is so well behaved, when I take her into stores. She sits in the basket, of the shopping carts, and she doesn't make a peep. She and Brody have become fast friends. He loves to play with her, and she gives it right back. I think she thinks she is a Pit bull, because that is the way she sounds. We have dog toys strewn from one end of our house to the other. We don't care! She is being crate trained, and her house training is coming along. She went to the Vet yesterday, for her shots. She is now up to 6 pounds. I can't believe how fast she is growing. She is just a real joy, and we love her very much. Thank you again for such a nice puppy. Thought you might like to know her progress. I will keep you up to date on our little Izzy.

Just wanted you to know that we love our little girl, Sophie. When we arrived at your place in February, I knew we would find a wonderful JRT puppy. From our first phone conversation, I knew that you loved what you do. Also seeing how you keep your home and your kennels, I knew we were at the right place.
Sophie is six months old now and she is everthing I expected. She is a beautiful, smart little JRT. Our 10 year old JRT, Lucy has taken to her and they are so much alike. Sophie has given Lucy her youth back.
Sophie loves to travel too. Since we've had her. she has been to Panama City Beach, FL and to the mountains. Everywhere we go, people stop us to pet Sophie. She loves to meet new people.
Thanks again Theresa for such a wonderful JRT. Trish

She is growing like a weed as picts show.  We love her so much.  She is Smart, Comical, and Keeps me on my toes.

Hi,
Today is Tess' first birthday and I thought I would send you a couple of recent photos to let you know she's doing great.  She's quite a character and continues to bring us a lot of joy and laughter.  The day we came out to "see" her was a real blessing.  You did a great job - she's a loving little girl and still enjoys snuggling up on the sofa with us to watch TV.  I don't know if you will remember, but you were definitely right about one thing, she loves to hunt.  I don't think we have any mice or geckos left in the back yard now.  I hate to think about what else she's tracked and disposed of but we are truly Jack Russell people and we love her a lot.  Thanks again for letting us bring her home with us last year!

hey,
Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for selling us this wonderful jack russell. We decided to name him Sheriff, its a little different but it suits him very well. This past weekend we took him to my sisters in columbia. She has three big dogs so he was busy all weekend. He is the perfect house dog with great personality. We took him to the vet for his shots this past friday, our vet liked the way you had his folder together and all his paperwork. We also gave her the cards you gave me so she has a few of your business cards at her office. Just wanted to say thanks again. Also heres some pictures.

Beautiful dogs, caring and responsible breeder!
We fell in love with "Ying Yang" last night, and we were blown away by how beautiful and clean the kennels and puppies were. Ying Yang (now called Charlotte) is adorable, loving, and well-socialized. I can't recommend Southern Legacy Terriers highly enough.

Theresa,
Just wanted to give you an update on Moonshine. She is doing wonderful, happy, running in the back yard like a pup, staying on squirrel and cat patrol. She and Rocky are great together, she gives Rocky kisses until he just gets tired of it. She's playing alot, with toys and with Rocky. She is getting the hang of our lifestyle and fitting in perfectly. We have her close to housebroken, she is getting the hang of it, we're real close. She is really funny because once we feed her at 5PM, and then it gets dark, she is curled up with Rocky and out like a light. I'm sending a pic of her and Rocky sharing a pillow. Before taking the pic Rocky had his head on the pillow but he moved slightly as I took the pic. Thanks so much for such a sweet little girl as she is now an important part of our life. You guys have a happy new year.

Theresa, thank you so much for our CC, she is a wonderful puppy! She has friends in all shapes and sizes, a German Shepard police dog, a large Doberman, a Golden Retriever, a Pappilion a Silky Terrier and a Toy poodle. Wow, that's more friends than I have.
She enjoys long walks, bike rides, and of course, rough housing! She is also a snuggle bug! What a joy, thank you again, Liz

Theresa,
Gosh where do I start....
My kids are absolutely in love with the little guy, espically my daughters. He is VERY cuddly which they all enjoy.
He has gone both poop and pee outside...what a smart cookie. Granted we take him out quite often but nonetheless he goes outside.
We introduced him to our German Shepherd...it went much better than I thought. The German Shepherd is intrigued by something so little and knows he is still king of the house. PJ (now Charlie) is a little scrapper trying to hold his own against the big beast. We have them together little bits at a time and it is getting better the more they are together. The Shepherd is getting to the point he is over it and PJ is less snappy with him. I am sure within a week they will be best of friends.
He loves all his toys and has no problem with food or water. We feed on schedule to try to regulate his output. He is the perfect mix of chill and playful. Although today I am sure he is a little more tired than usual given his big day.
I can't thank you enough....HE IS PERFECT!!

We will be in touch!

Theresa,

I am so sorry I haven't dropped a line. Everything is going really well, little Emma has settled right into our routine! She is really a smart cookie and can hold her own against the boys in the house.

My only concern is taking her for a walk...she seems too small. Charlie gets a long walk every day...like 1-2 miles on top of his playtime. Maybe if she grows a little more.

I took the cutest pictures tonight...I'll send tomorrow.

Thanks again, she is the diva of the house and she knows it. She is sooooo sweet! Again, we couldn't be happier.

Hi Theresa,

We have just left our Vet.
Doctor Cousins was very excited to see just how well Gus had been taken care of. Doctor Cousins said that Gus is perfect and that only comes from a fine line of breeding and that you and Mr. Bill are excellent breeders.
Our next schedule appointment is July 19th.

Thank you so much for everything!! I knew Gus was perfect before taking him to the Vet but it is awesome to know that a doctor thinks he is perfect too. (:

Kindest Regards,
Emily.

Hi Theresa!

Just wanted to let you know we named our new little boy, Chipper Jones----"CJ". He is quite a little character, so full of energy but equally snuggly! Our lab, Gracie, has adopted him as her baby and is teaching him the ropes. He absolutely loves the pool and stays soaking wet most of the time. He is fearless and has already been after a nasty old oppossum. We had our first vet visit today and they confirmed he is a great looking, healthy little boy. Please know that he will be loved and definitely spoiled!

Thanks so much,

Stephanie
Hi Theresa,

Rusty mentioned that Miss Calleigh was gracing the first page of your website, so I went to take a look. I scrolled through all of the puppies in the two sections and found our Guinness. What gorgeous pups! I realized I had never submitted a testimonial. I didn’t see a mechanism by which to “submit, so I’m just sending you an email with some pics and asking that you post this testimonial. If it’s too long, feel free to edit and use whichever pictures you believe are best for the site. If there’s another preferred way, please let me know so that I can get it done. BTW, in Photo 12, that’s a golf ball in Calleigh’s mouth.

*********************
We first arrived at Bill and Theresa’s absolutely heartbroken over the (then) recent loss of our 13 year old female JRT, Miss Belle. We visited Southern Legacy with a view toward selecting a pup from a future litter. We left with the most precious of gifts, Miss Calleigh, who was six years old at the time. Bill and Theresa saw our heartache and gave us, literally gave us, one of their retired females. She was such a blessing to us at a very difficult time and continues to be such a sweetheart and Mama’s girl. My husband still had a hankering for a puppy, so we ended up with our first male dog ever a few months later. When I selected the name “Guinness” for our new pup, it never occurred to me how it rhymed with “Menace,” but I have since realized that he was well named. What a handful!! He had such a strong will and personality that that we went more than a few rounds in those early months. He is still a handful, but a more well-behaved handful now! He recently killed a possum, and oh, was he proud! He was high stepping it all over the back yard with his “prize.” Miss Calleigh came in for the “assist”, so she deserves some credit, too. Guinness LOVES to play ball and has one in his mouth almost every waking moment! With 7 year old Calleigh and 1 year old Guinness, we often see examples of age and treachery overcoming stamina and youth. Calleigh has such patience and will wait it out until Guinness walks away from his ball, then she will swoop in and steal it. The two pups get into their little scraps, but then I see them in the same bed snuggled up together and take comfort that all is well.

I would highly recommend Southern Legacy. They are caring breeders who turn out quality pups, litter after litter. Their love of the breed is paramount. With them, it really is all about the pups!

She is sassy but loves her people. She is the smartest one yet and she is my third. I have walked her and socialized her from day one. She loves her people and lobes other dogs.i made sure that she was never around aggressive dogs. And she seriously watches TV. She would not be a dog for the first time owner. She really doesn't take to negative correction. I can tell her no but she gets her feelings hurt if anybody gets loud or if my husband uses a harsh voice. She is a bit of an adorable diva. She is beautiful. And she talks back to me. Seriously. Quite a clown.

Nov 22, 2016 Hey Theresa,
Topher went to the vet today and weighs 13.3 pounds. He is doing great. Getting big and just feeling our hearts and lives with so much joy. He is the sweetest puppy I have ever had. Loves kisses, snuggles. He really does just melt me. Here are some pics after his bath tonight. Hope you are doing well. ❤️ Did I mention he is gorgeous!

Hi, Theresa,

Just wanted to touch base with you on how the pups are getting along.  We are happy to announce that little Miss Banshee (we have re-named her Cee-Cee) and Charlie are behaving just as a brother/sister duo would!  Charlie is the captain of all adventures and is clearly the 'boss', but CeeCee is happy to provide back up! They are playing together, running together, chasing critters together, digging together and kissing one another!  She has finally come out of her shy shell and has showed us a definite personality!  They are both quite spoiled and we certainly would not have it any other way!  We absolutely are in love with both of our fur-babies and cannot thank you enough for the privilege of adopting both from you!

We are sharing a recent photo of the 2 of them together!  We will continue to keep you posted.  Thank you so much again!

Strong and lean and alert!

Weighed in at 10.2 at vet today! They say he looks super! Friendly yet reserved, social but stands proud! On alert in this pic when a catering truck rolled by at the club house and backfired! Did he let out a RUFF!! Cute! Looking and feeling great he is. Roger is a champ and a sweetheart too! Loves us so! We do too! Have a great weekend Bill and Theresa. We are so blessed by this little young man pup! Keeps us busy!

Hi Theresa

I'm so sorry it has taken us awhile to respond.  I finally took a moment today to catch up on my email.

Archer is amazing.  He is such a good dog.  He is high energy when we are up and moving around or going out.  On the flip side, if we are having a slower day, he is content to sit down with us and just chill out.   He also loves to go places with us and is such a social dog and always excited and happy to meet people or other dogs.  He loves our boys and loves to play with them.  Archer has a very easy going personality - we are hoping he keeps that as he gets older.  We love him so and he has really fit into our family.  Thank you for such a wonderful dog!

I will email you over some pics.  We hope you and your family are doing well!

Thank you again!
